The same family has owned and run us The Essex Room for more than a century. They take pleasure in serving exceptional meals and offering excellent customer service. Building Woodman’s Function Hall marked a new chapter in the lengthy history of the Woodman family. After necessary refurbishment, the Hall was renamed The Essex Room in 1997.
No matter the season, the Essex Room at Woodman’s of Essex offers a classic New England setting with breathtaking views of the salt marsh and Essex River. They provide an elegant bridal room, sizable outdoor space for a ceremony and/or cocktail hour, and a lovely seasonal garden that makes the ideal backdrop for wedding photography.
