How We Did It .
This project had many challenges and moving parts because there are so many aspects to Dom’s business between online ordering, the deli, butchery, wholesalers and catering. That meant that the information architecture was a crucial step in the design process to ensure the site would be easy to use and navigate.
Separately from that, the website’s shipping rules needed to be customized to accommodate shipping fresh meats factoring in costs for the container and accompanying cool gel pack that is part of the overall shipping costs.

Store Locator
Store Locator.
This new website also features a robust store locator as Dom’s products are carried across hundreds of retailers across the Northeast. The store locater allows users to easily search where they can get Dom’s products nearest to them and further strengthens Dom’s relationship with their retailers. Adding a feature like this is something we pay close attention to when building new e-commerce websites for our clients.
Can You Use Google Images on Your Website?.
The images we used on the Dom’s Sausage website bring their food to life and give customers an accurate idea of the steak they sell. Using images on your website is necessary if you want to engage users and keep them scrolling throughout your website. However, you must be careful when sourcing images because not all images are copyright free. Learn about why you can’t always use Google images on your website by reading our blog!
