Background
For over 50 years, Community Teamwork has been working to strengthen the greater Lowell, MA community. They provide resources for low-income people including housing, food, employment, business, career, youth, and elderly resources. Since the organization offers many programs, a main goal for the new website was to make navigating the program options simple and seamless. This is why all programs are categorized into broad topics in the main navigation menu, and then broken down into more granular programs on the main program pages. Fully Responsive
Beautifully presented across all responsive devices
Many use the Community Teamwork website on their mobile devices to obtain program information or to call or email heads of programs. This website was designed to be easy to navigate and to be used on all screen sizes.
Find Contacts Effortlessly .
There is a large table on the contact page with the information of the point person for each program. To make it quick and easy for people to search for contacts by program, we created a program filter at the top of the page. This way, people can select their program of interest from a list, click “search,” and then view a list containing only the contacts for their program.

CUSTOM POST TYPE
Custom Program Tabs.
We created custom tabs for each program to make the website easier to read and more straightforward to navigate. These included an overview of the program, success stories from the program, information on who to contact, and more, depending on the needs of the program. The contact tabs on each program feed in contact information from the back end of the site. Therefore, whenever contact information is updated in the back end of the site, both the program pages and Contact Us page are updated with the correct information. This makes the contact information easy to keep up-to-date throughout the entire website, which is valuable for a large organization aiming to connect individuals with right information and people.
How to Make an Effective Non-Profit About Us Page.
When we created Community Teamwork’s About Us page, we included several sections so that visitors and interested donors could get the full scope of who Community Teamwork is and what they do. When creating an About Us page for your non-profit, there are a series of sections we recommend including: mission, core values, team, annual reports, history, and donors.
